Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、「ランゲージアーツ」としての言語教育と「リテラシー教育」が有機的に結合した英語教育のあり方を追求し、それを担える資質と遂行能力を兼ね備えた英語教員の職能モデルの開発を目的としている。調査研究の対象は、スーパーグローバル大学30の中からタイプBのグローバル化牽引大学、および先進的な語学教育を実施している北米やアジア圏等の国外の大学である。事例分析においては、「リテラシー教育」としての効果を発揮する英語カリキュラムを厳選し、これらの科目を担当する教員の力量を、専門領域分野・研究力・教育力・社会貢献力の指標に基づいて分析する。
