Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、タイにおけるエリート人材養成と社会構造の関係性を、海外留学のインパクトに着目して質的調査を通じて実証的に明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的には、タイ政府奨学金受給者、海外留学経験を持つ褒章受章者、Fulbright奨学生の３グループを対象に、Bourdieu & Passeronの再生産論を理論的基盤とし、奨学金制度が階層間移動を促進する可能性にも注目した分析を行う。これにより、海外留学を通じた文化資本の蓄積と変換、およびタイの社会構造における文化的再生産のメカニズムを解明するとともに、奨学金制度が社会構造に与える影響を検証し、効果的な人材育成政策への示唆を得ることを目指す。
