Outline of Research at the Start

18歳までにハイエンド人材となり得なかった学生たちがどのような大学教育によって大きく成長するのかに関してフィールド調査を通じて理論化すること（①学習研究の視点）、大学におけるボリュームゾーン人材育成機能を視野に入れて社会的インパクトを２つの観点で研究を行う。具体的には、ボトムアップによる大学の機能分化によって800ある日本の大学の構造化がはかれるかを検討するとともに、国際比較として海外のボリュームゾーン人材育成の現状を明らかにすること（②教育社会学・高等教育政策の観点）、また大学進学率とGDPの関係を模索することを行う。
