Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、視覚障がい者への効率的な情報提供はどうすべきかを基本的な「問い」とする。その検証方法としてChatGPTをはじめとする生成AIの応用を図り、その有効性を検証する。(1)「しゃべる」触図教材に、生成AIによるキーワードの検索機能をつける。(2)読み取った画像にChatGPTなどの生成AIによる説明機能をつける。この新しい技術によって、より容易に高度な内容の検索が可能になるのではないかという仮説を実証的に検証する。この技術は、大学のみならず、視覚特別支援学校や一般の企業・施設のパンフレットなど幅広い活用が可能となり、視覚障がい者の情報保障の研究として有用である。
