Outline of Research at the Start

2020年度より小学校英語に、英語の読み書き「フォニックス」が追加され、各学校ではデジタル音声を用いて指導されている。しかし、地域の通常学級で学ぶ聴覚障害児はデジタル音声が聞きづらくフォニックス習得に困難を感じているが、この分野の研究は進んでいない。そこで、本研究では聴覚障害児の英語担当教員がフォニックス指導法を研修できる教材等を開発し、教員研修後に指導実践する。そして、①教員がフォニックスの指導力をつけられたか、②聴覚障害児が英語の読み書きの力をつけられたかを効果検証する。また、異なる地域の聴覚障害児の担当教員が、英語指導についての「困り感」を共有できるオンライン・コミュニティーを開設する。
