Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、わが国の理科教育において重視され続けている自然への愛を含む自然観とはどのようなもので、いかに児童・生徒の態度の育成や意思決定に寄与するかを明らかにすることを目的とする。
理論的研究と実証的研究により、今後の急速に変化する社会における市民としての役割を担う子どものために、わが国の教育的文脈や伝統的、文化的背景を重視した理科教育について多面的に再考し、理科教育における自然観の現代的意義を検討する。そして、授業実践を行うことにより意思決定における自然観のかかわりや、自然および科学に対する態度や見方・考え方の質的向上との関連を調査する。
