Outline of Research at the Start

大学の一般教養科目において実施する放射線教育プログラムを構築・提案する。
東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故以降、小・中・高等学校では放射線副読本をはじめ、さまざまな教育手法が開発されてきた。また、都道府県主体による教育活動も始まっている。一方で、大学においては原子力専攻以外の学生への教育機会が十分とは言えず、一般教養科目として原子力や放射線の基礎を扱う取り組みは、ようやく検討が始まった段階にある。本研究はこの現状を補完し、一般市民と専門教育を受けた人々の間にある放射線・原子力に対する意識のギャップを埋めることを目的とする。
