Outline of Research at the Start

他者による、些細だが繰り返される不快な言動が蓄積することで、強い嫌悪感情が形成される現象を「社会的アレルギー（social allergy）」と呼ぶ。本研究は、日本人における社会的アレルギーの実態と、その心理的メカニズムを明らかにし、この感情反応を適応論的観点から説明することを目的とする。5年間の計画では、質問紙調査、インタビュー、実験など複数の手法を用いてデータを収集・分析し、現象の特性と機能的意義を検討する。最終的には、社会的アレルギーの発現とその心理的意味を統合的に説明する「適応モデル」を構築する。
