Outline of Research at the Start

近年、善行を行う人々が必ずしも好意的に評価されず、時に否定的に見られる「善行者蔑視」という現象が報告されている。本研究では、この現象が日本を含む非西洋文化でも見られるのか、また善行者に対して偽善的な動機が推測される傾向があるのかを検証する。文化による違いや共通点を明らかにし、善行者蔑視の背景にある心理的メカニズムと緩和策の手がかりを探ることを目的とする。
