Outline of Research at the Start

日本のジェンダー格差は，他の先進諸国に比べて，依然として大きい。この問題について社会学や経済学ではさまざまな議論が行われているが，本研究は社会心理学の立場から格差維持の心理学的基盤を検討する。これまで我々は，日本の女性がジェンダー格差の原因である既存のジェンダー役割を肯定することで主観的幸福感が高くなるというジェンダーシステム正当化とその緩和機能を見出した。さらに，そこには「私は女性であるおかげで優遇されている」という優遇認識があることを示した。本研究は，こうしたジェンダーシステム正当化の緩和機能のメカニズムをさらに詳細に検討することで，日本におけるジェンダー格差の解消を目指すものである。
