スマートフォンなどの情報通信機器の普及、高齢者や認知症患者の増加など、現代人の記憶を取り巻く環境は近年大きく変化した。このことは日常生活における記憶行動・経験に対して大きな影響を与え、私たちの持つ記憶に対する考え方（記憶観）をも変化させている。記憶観の変化は環境に対する適応をもたらす場合もあるが、かえって日常生活の質やウェルビーイングを低下させることも少なくない。本研究では、現代における記憶を取り巻く環境の変化と一般の人々の記憶観・記憶経験、そこから生じる問題の解明、その解決策について検討する。
