Outline of Research at the Start

成人期の研究では，顕在的自尊感情（Explicit Self-Esteem: 以下，ESE）と潜在的自尊感情（Implicit Self-Esteem: 以下，ISE）の不一致が大きいと，精神的健康と社会的適応に負の影響が出ることが明らかにされている。しかし，児童期の研究は少なく，低学年児童については未解明である。本研究では，1～3年生児童を対象に，ESEとISEの不一致と精神的健康及び社会的適応との関連を解明するとともに，ESEとISEの双方を育む教育方法を明らかにする。本研究の成果は，自尊感情教育を発展させ，自尊感情の歪みが原因となるいじめや不登校等の諸問題の軽減に貢献できると期待される。
