Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的はMMPI-3を用いて本邦の慢性疼痛患者の人格特性と、人格特性が経過に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることである。慢性疼痛の治療には心理療法の有要性が認められているが、患者の人格特性によって効果は大きく左右される。改訂版であるMMPI-3は尺度の種類や数、解釈方法も含めてまったく異なる検査となっており、新たな知見を与えてくれる可能性がある。本研究では慢性疼痛に関与する生物心理社会的因子を心理・感覚・行動の面から多面的に評価し、MMPI-3の各尺度が慢性疼痛患者のどのような特徴を反映し、予後にどのように関係するのかを明らかにする。
