Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は「他者の知覚内容を予測・制御できるか？」という問いに実証的に挑むものである。色や形の知覚には大きな個人差が存在し、例えば「私の見ている赤」と「あなたの赤」は異なる可能性がある。従来の心理学はこうした個人差をノイズとして扱ってきたが、本研究はその個人差自体に注目し、錯視を用いた実験により、知覚の多様性を定量的に把握・予測・制御する手がかりを探ることを目的とする。知覚という主観的な体験に科学的に迫る本研究は、従来の「平均的な人間像」ではなく「ある個人の内面」を理解する学問として心理学を拡張する試みであり、社会における多様性理解の深化にもつながると期待される。
