申請者は、終着特異点を持つ素Fano 3-foldの分類を目指す。特に、余次元4・5の場合に焦点を当て、対応する端緒多様体を重み付き射影空間内の中に見出し、それから素Fano 3-foldを、重み付き完全交叉として構成する方法に取り組む。また、1/2(1,1,1)-特異点のみを持つ場合にも焦点を当て、Sarkisov図式の検証にも注目して分類に取り組む。また、素Fano 3-foldの種数が8以下であることの証明を目指し、オンラインデータベースの精度向上に貢献する。
