Outline of Research at the Start

直交多項式は数学・物理学に留まらず工学などの様々な分野に現れてくる重要なものであるが，15年程前に新しいタイプの直交多項式(例外直交多項式・多添字直交多項式)が発見され，精力的に研究が進められている。この新しいタイプの多添字直交多項式を，数学者とは違った視点で，量子力学模型を用いて調べている点が本研究の特徴である。多添字直交多項式の性質の解明や解ける量子力学模型の拡張を更に推し進め，新しい知見を得る事を目的としている。今回は特に再帰関係式の性質の解明と多自由度への拡張を目指すと共に，離散変数の多添字直交多項式の応用を考える。
