Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、対称性の拡張によって、多様なトポロジカル相の開拓を行うとともに、それに伴って必然的に現れる新たなトポロジカル表面状態の性質を、自由に制御、デザインする手法を理論的に解明し、実験的に実現可能な形で提案することを目指している。特に、カイラル対称性の拡張とその破れを利用することにより、対称性によって護られたトポロジカル相におけるトポロジカル表面状態の制御が、どのように可能になるのかを精密な数値計算に基づき明らかにする。
