Outline of Research at the Start

The purpose of the research is to create a novel short-time mechanical alloying (MA) technology for the mass-production of ODS-Cu alloys. The introduction methods of Y and O and the MA time on improving the performance of the ODS-Cu will be investigated. This study focused on solving the key problem that the Cu powders are difficult to be mechanical alloyed via traditional MA methods, which can facilitate the practical application of ODS-Cu alloys as heat sink materials of the divertors of future fusion reactors.
