Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、p(12C,12N)nなどの二体反応の逆運動学にて中性子ビームに随伴する12Nビームなどの散乱角度を精度良く測定し、エネルギーと角度をタグした超高速中性子ビームを開発する。この中性子ビームのタグされたエネルギーと角度の情報を利用して、中性子の遮蔽や放射化評価のために代表的なサンプル(C,Si,Pb等)と中性子との非弾性散乱断面積すなわち原子核の全反応断面積を測定する。
