Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では歯に残された微細な傷（マイクロウェア）に基づいて、主に草食恐竜の食性復元を行う。恐竜が生息した白亜紀には花をつける植物（被子植物）が出現し、恐竜が絶滅した白亜紀には植物種の過半を占めるようになった。草食恐竜の分類群ごとに被子植物の摂食量の時代変化を調べ、被子植物の放散が各分類群の食性に与えた影響を明らかにし、さらに食性の変化と各分類の多様性変動（種数の増加や現象）の関連を調べる。
