Outline of Research at the Start

「表面性状(surface texture)」は「表面粗さ」や「面粗度」などとも呼ばれ，工業製品などの表面の凹凸の程度を表す．これらはISOやJISによる規格によって規定されており，工業製品の表面はこれらの規格に基づいて評価されている．この表面性状に関するISO規格は2021年に大幅に改定され，JISも改定される見込みとなっている．しかしながら，この変更によって表面性状の評価がどの程度変わり得るのかが明確になっておらず，産業界や学術界での混乱が懸念されている．そこで，本研究では，新規国際規格が旧規格とどの程度の互換性を持つのかを実際の加工表面に統計的な手法を用いて明らかにする．
