Outline of Research at the Start

Thermal management of AI datacenters challenges the heat transfer community. Boiling heat transfer offers a promising solution. Despite research, boiling lacks a general physical description. Numerical simulations are computationally costly and limited to simple surfaces. A novel bottom-up agent-based modeling framework is proposed. Each bubble is treated as an autonomous agent with distinct attributes and behavior, leading to complex global heat transfer characteristics. Accurate boiling curve predictions can be derived at reduced computational costs compared to state-of-the-art simulations.
