Outline of Research at the Start

This research explores the application of post-disaster green placemaking, or community-based ecological restoration, including various actions of planting, growing, and ecological and food stewardship with community participation. Considering the positive impacts of green placemaking for both individuals and communities, this research applies this framework to clarify how green placemaking can support local communities and build resilience from emergency response, recovery, and against future disaster damage.
