Outline of Research at the Start

The rapid expansion of offshore wind turbines (OWTs) has made Operation and Maintenance (O&M) a critical concern, particularly in ensuring safe and efficient access to OWT platforms. This research proposes a quantitative risk assessment framework for OWT access systems, incorporating advanced marine suspension technology to enhance safety and accessibility. The proposed framework will undergo experimental validation with different transfer methods. Enhanced accessibility and safety ensure continuous operation of wind farms, contributing to the global shift toward clean energy society.
