Outline of Research at the Start

人口動態統計上の不慮の死亡事故のうち未就学児から小学校児童の年齢層は交通事故が最も多い．特に７歳児の交通死亡事故数は全年齢から突出しており「魔の７歳」と呼ばれ，登下校時に車両の死角から道路へ飛び出して衝突する事故の頻度が高い．本研究では発達段階を未就学児群，小学校低学年群，高学年群にわけた交通安全指導カリキュラムの構築を目的とし，群特性に対応した自転車による交通安全ラリーイベントを実施する．事故発生要因を内包したラリーイベント前後の参加者の行動変容を定性的かつ定量的に分析することで，子どもの交通安全向上に寄与する指導要因を明らかにする．
