KeywordsFerroelectric oxides / disordered cations / Layered Perovskites
Outline of Research at the Start

The research will be carried out on Ln2AB2O7 (Ln = lanthanides) layered perovskite oxides as following: (1) modulating structural distortions via alteration of A-cations distribution, (2) magnetic cation substitution on B-site to produce magnetism in ferroelectrics, and (3) characterizations of the possible magnetoelectric coupling in the new ferroelectrics.
