Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では界面を有する複合ナノ構造を対象として、低加速透過電子顕微鏡および高精度電子分光により、界面構造の原子レベルでの可視化と電子状態の解明のための分析手法の確立を目指す。具体的には、異種の二次元原子膜同士あるいは異種のナノチューブ同士の接合界面や、コアシェル型ナノ粒子における二相界面付近の原子配置の可視化と電子分光に取り組み、これらの界面構造がもたらす物性発現のメカニズムを検証する。また電子顕微鏡観察における電子線照射や局所加熱等が界面構造にもたらす影響を検証し、それらを積極的に応用したナノ構造制御の可能性を探る。
