Outline of Research at the Start

健康寿命延伸のためには、要介護状態の前段階であるフレイルや筋肉減少症（サルコペニア）に対する予防が重要である。近年、ビタミンDが筋肉量や筋力の維持に直接関与することが明らかとなり、フレイル・サルコペニアの発症・進展の予測に、ビタミンD栄養状態の把握が有用であると予想される。そこで、日本人向けに開発されたビタミンD欠乏判定簡易質問票及び尿中ビタミンD代謝物濃度と筋肉量・筋力等の関連性について検討し、一般的な低栄養評価に加え、ビタミンD栄養評価を取り入れたフレイル・サルコペニアに対するスクリーニング法を開発する。また、薬局等で簡便に実施できる評価ツールを考案し、その効果を検証する。
