Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、勉強をせず薬を飲むだけで頭が良くなることができるような食品の開発を目指している。これまでの我々の研究成果から、脳内の神経細胞の軸索伸長を促進させ、神経回路網を構築することにより、正常マウスの記憶が向上することが示されている。そこで、ある食品に着目し、この食品が軸索伸長により本当に正常マウスの記憶向上作用を示すのかを証明することを本研究の目的とする。さらに、その食品中の活性成分とその作用機序の解明も目指す。
