本研究では、ヒトの腸内分泌成分である胆汁酸が、Ⅱ型糖尿病や肥満改善効果が期待される腸内細菌Akkermansia muciniphilaの代謝に与える影響を明らかにする。具体的には、胆汁酸が、本菌の糖代謝に与える影響および、本菌の機能性物質生産に与える影響を明らかにする。
