Outline of Research at the Start

胞子体型自家不和合性を持つアブラナ科Brassica属における花粉側（雄性側）の優劣性において、class-Iと-IIに分類されるSハプロタイプ間の逆転的優劣性現象が見出され、この現象は従来の分子機構モデルでは説明できない。また、系統立てて調査されていないclass-I Sハプロタイプ間の優劣性では、従来のモデルの修正あるいは拡大したモデル機構が働いている可能性が考えられる。本研究では、両課題解決で鍵となる独自に見出した或る一つのSハプロタイプ系統を軸に、それぞれの現象の要因を分子遺伝学的に明らかにし、Brassica種のSハプロタイプ間の優劣性機構の全容解明に繋げる。
