Outline of Research at the Start

鯨類という水生大型動物の生理機能に関する情報量は圧倒的に少なく，配偶子のDNA損傷など繁殖障害の直接的な原因となる異常は従来の検査で特定することができず，鯨類の繁殖に異常をきたす原因は明らかになっていない．本研究では，定量的な生理的応答指標となり得る微量元素と繁殖関連ホルモンの網羅的な動態比較から，繁殖の成否と微量元素との因果関係を明らかにする．
