Outline of Research at the Start	要緊急対処特定外来生物ヒアリSolenopsis invictaの国内定着を阻止するためには、主要な侵入地点である港湾での水際防除を高度化する必要がある。本研究では、ヒアリの飼養を実施し、港湾環境を模した人工実験系において、コロニーの成長速度、移動条件、温度条件などの諸条件を把握し、港湾におけるヒアリ動態を解明することで、ヒアリ防除の高度化に応用すると共に、ヒアリの定着要因を生態学的に解明する。
