Outline of Research at the Start

芦ノ湖の生態系における物質動態を解明することを目的に、基礎生産者（植物プランクトン）から高次捕食者（魚類）までの栄養段階を介した多価不飽和脂肪酸（PUFA）の挙動を解明することを目指す。まず芦ノ湖における水質環境の季節変化を明らかにする。次に植物プランクトンの群集組成および脂肪酸組成の解析を行い、分類群に特異的な脂肪酸成分を決定する。続いて、動物プランクトンの群集組成解析を行った後に、分類群ごとに脂肪酸組成を解析し、低次食段階におけるPUFAの動態を明らかにする。さらに魚類胃内容物組成を解析した上で、体組織の脂肪酸組成を分析する。これらを総合し、芦ノ湖の食物網におけるPUFAの移動を追跡する。
