Outline of Research at the Start

The specific objectives of the study are to: (1) elucidate the determinants of agricultural productivity, resource use efficiency, economic performance and environmental impact (eco-efficiency) of GAP producers compared to conventional farmers.
(2) assess market access to GAP producers through analyzing the conventional and institutional buyers in the vegetable value chain and (3) develop an integrated framework to strengthen productivity-environment-market linkages for wider adoption of GAP by small-scale farmers.
