Outline of Research at the Start	国際的なフードセキュリティ概念の進化によって、国としては十分な食料に恵まれた状態にある高所得国の中にも、社会経済的要因や地理的要因からなる「新たな飢餓」が存在することが指摘されている。本研究は、わが国が直面する「新たな飢餓」を可視化すること、そして、これに対抗しうる公的政策について、専門家の意見集約を通じて明らかにすることを目的とする。本研究の成果は、わが国における個人・世帯のフードセキュリティの実現に寄与するだけでなく、類似の食習慣と健康課題を有する東アジア諸国におけるフードセキュリティ実現にも貢献することが期待される。
