Outline of Research at the Start

ブタ暑熱耐性の遺伝的ばらつきの原因となるDNA変異やその近傍のDNA多型を、当耐性と関連する分子マーカーとして取り入れたDNA育種技術を確立し、高い暑熱耐性へ向けた遺伝的改良を行うことにより、暑熱ストレスによる増体量低下を永続的かつ経済的に抑制することができると考えられている。そこで、本研究では、ブタ暑熱耐性の改良のためのDNA育種技術に有用となる（当耐性と関連する）分子マーカーを開発する。
