Outline of Research at the Start

がん微小環境による抗腫瘍薬に対する治療抵抗性への影響が報告されているが、Ca透過性陽イオンチャネルである transient receptor potential (TRP) チャネルがその維持に関与すると推測された。そこで申請者は、がん微小環境を構成するいくつかのチャネル分子を標的にすることによって、相乗的な抗腫瘍作用増強を図ることを目的とした。がん細胞とマクロファージからなるがんスフェロイドを構築して in vitro 並びに in vivo での実験によって、複数種のTRPチャネル阻害によって抗腫瘍薬への耐性を解除しようとする試みである。
