Outline of Research at the Start

我が国および海外において、鶏アイメリア原虫の浸潤状況を分子疫学調査により明らかにし、飼育形態による分布および感染・被害状況を解析する。また、これまで国内に存在しなかったとされるE. brunetti の病原性についても比較、解析する。得られた野外株についてはゲノムDNAを抽出し、全ゲノム解析を実施し、国内外の株間で比較する。単離できた野外株については、弱毒化を行い、病態責任遺伝子を決定を試みる。
