Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者はこれまでDSBが核膜に移行して修復されることを示してきた。さらに近年、DSBに対するドナーDNAもまた核膜に移行すること、そしてそれが配列依存的であることを見出している。本研究ではその移動機構として考えられる二つの仮説（ストランド侵入もしくはRNAの関与）について検証し、移行機構とその生理的役割の解明を目指す。またDSBとドナーDNAが結合する様子を一細胞レベルで解析することで、相同組換えにおいて必須の機構であるホモロジーサーチの実体に迫る。
