Outline of Research at the Start	小胞体での折り畳みに失敗した膜タンパク質は、プロテアソームやリソソームにより分解される。このうち、詳細なメカニズムが不明であったリソソーム経路の制御因子として、我々は最近TOLLIPを同定した。しかし、TOLLIPに依存せずリソソーム分解される基質も多数存在するため、リソソーム経路の理解は不十分といえる。本研究では、我々が最近実施したゲノムワイドスクリーニングの結果をもとに、不良膜タンパク質のTOLLIP非依存的なリソソーム分解経路の分子メカニズムの解明を目指す。さらに、このTOLLIP非依存的経路で分解されるさまざまな基質を同定することで、この経路の生理的意義の明確化も目指す。
