Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、ラロン症候群に関連する成長ホルモン受容体の変異が引き起こす機能的影響を解析し、新たな治療法の開発を目指す。Missense変異を対象に、変異受容体の発現量、細胞表面での局在、成長ホルモンとの結合能を評価する。さらに、高親和性環状ペプチドを用いて人工アゴニストを作製し、変異受容体に対する活性を検証する。これにより、変異受容体を活性化する新たな治療法の基盤を築くことを目指す。
