マクロファージは、私たちの体を守る重要な免疫細胞です。私たちの研究チームは、マクロファージ内のRab32/38という特殊な物質を持つ小さな袋（リソソーム関連オルガネラ）を発見しました。近年増加しているA群レンサ球菌（GAS）感染症に対して、マクロファージが今回注目した特殊なリソソーム関連オルガネラを使って細菌を分解する仕組みを解明することを目指しています。
