Outline of Research at the Start

ミュゼオミクスは、大規模な研究のための自然史コレクション利用をして、DNA情報などにおける問いを調べる分野である。本研究は、東京大学植物標本室(TI標本室)に保管されているシダ植物のコケシノブ科の標本に基づいて、genome skimming法により遺伝子データを得て、コケシノブ科の中の隠蔽種複合体系統の分類学的な大規模の研究を行いたい。そのため、東京大学のTI標本室の豊富なシダ植物標本コレクションを利用しながら、海外の様々な標本室の連携をつけて、現地調査と標本調査を網羅的に研究する。ミュゼオミクスのアプローチを利用することで、貴重な自然史資料の保存につながる。
