Outline of Research at the Start

ラブルベニアは特定の種の節足動物体表のみで生活できる特殊な子嚢菌である。本研究ではショウジョウバエなどのハエ目昆虫に寄生する広義のStigmatomyces属を対象とする。日本における宿主―寄生者の対応関係リストを充実させるとともに、それらの共進化過程を解明する。ラブルベニアの栄養摂取・繁殖・感染のメカニズムを明らかにするとともに、農業害虫を含めた宿主の適応度や行動に対する影響を調査する。
