Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、チョウは配偶相手としての異性は認識するが、性的ライバルである同性は認識しない、と仮定することでチョウの行動を記述する「汎求愛説」の確立を目指す。
まずは、汎求愛説を理論として発表する。続いて、チョウの配偶行動が汎求愛説に合うかどうかを調べる。具体的には、飼育ネットに入れられたクロヒカゲのオスが、同種のオスとメスに対してどの程度の求愛行動を示すかを観察する。また、キアゲハの雌性フェロモンを同定し、それがオスにどの程度含まれているかを明らかにする。
