Outline of Research at the Start	旧石器時代～縄文時代早期の新たな自然遺物・文化遺物を収集することを目指し、浜松市浜名区にある堀谷洞窟遺跡の発掘調査を実施する。当遺跡においては、研究代表者らが2021年度に発掘調査に着手し、2023年度までに得られた結果から、最下層にかなり近づいている可能性が窺えたことから、その周辺部をさらに広げて調査する必要が生じている。この先は調査区を広げて最下層を明らかにし、堆積層の層序および包含遺物を確認し、得られた試料について可能な限り分析を実施する。
