Outline of Research at the Start

舌下神経前位核は、前庭小脳との機能的連関を通じて水平視線制御に関与している。これまでの研究では、主に舌下神経前位核から前庭小脳への神経接続に焦点が当てられてきた。これに対し申請者は以前、前庭小脳以外の領域である小脳虫部前葉および半球部に投射する、舌下神経前位核の新たな亜集団を報告した。本研究では、この未解明の新規亜集団における神経回路構造と機能の解明を目的とする。
