Outline of Research at the Start

近年、細胞内の分子環境に応じて、グアニン四重鎖 (G4) と呼ばれる核酸の高次構造が形成されることが明らかとなっている。G4は、複製、転写、翻訳をはじめとした様々な細胞プロセスに関与している。一方申請者はG4に結合・安定化することができる化合物、G4リガンドの開発を行ってきており、G4安定化により様々な薬理活性が誘導されることを明らかとしてきた。そこで、近年注目されているPROTACを活用したG4-PROTACを合成することで、細胞内におけるG4の理解を進め、創薬へと応用することを目的とする。
