Outline of Research at the Start	免疫チェックポイント阻害剤(ICI)は革新的癌治療薬であるが、約7割の患者が十分な治療効果を得られていない。治療効果を規定しうる因子として腸内細菌叢の違いが注目され、ICI治療における腸内細菌叢の重要性と共に腸-腫瘍連関機構の存在が認識されている。腸-腫瘍連関機構が不明な中、治療効果の改善目的でICIレスポンダーの糞便移植や生菌製剤投与などの臨床研究が行われているが、問題が山積しており別のアプローチが必要である。本研究では、腸内細菌由来DNAを内包する血中細胞外小胞(Extracellular vesicles: EV)に着目し、血中細菌DNAによる腸-腫瘍連関機構を明らかにする。
